Warning
for Samsung. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 isn't the only stylus-packing supersize
phone to drop this September. Alcatel introduced the second iteration of its
"phablet" line, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2. Samsung is not alone.
The
Hero 2 has an integrated stylus with some custom applications, so you can draw,
write or sketch with total precision and take your concept to the next level. Sometimes
the not-so-famous companies score over the more popular giant-companies.
This
6-incher strides into high-end territory with Android 4.4, a 2.0GHz octa-core
chipset, and a 13.1 megapixels camera. The good news is the Hero 2 has a
5-megapixel front-facing camera takes care of self-shots, so selfie fans will
love this smartphone. The OneTouch Hero 2 also equipped with a 3,100mAh battery
keeps that edge-to-edge display powered up. Howerver, you still need a
Powerbank if you are very active to do multitasking, watching video, read the
latest news, and of course for photography activities, because the Hero 2 has a
huge resolution camera.

You will
enjoy the main camera which is has 13.1 megapixels camera resolution and other
fantastic features such as Face detection, Optical Image and Video
stabilization (OIS+EIS), QR Code Scanner, Camera Live Filters, Extended
Panorama, Touch focus, smile detection, geo-tagging, HDR, panorama, night mode,
sport mode, 4-shots, burst mode, and timer. At the same time, a selfie-friendly
5MP front-facing camera will make sure you look good when you snap some quick
autoportraits.
Plese note
that the screen has a 6 inch Full HD IPS 1080 x 1920 pixels, TFT 16M color
display, OGS Full Lamination, Capacitive touch screen, Dragontrail glass,
Oleophobic coating, Multi-touch 5 points, ColoRize & ClearMotion image
enhancers.
Meanwhile the Galaxy Note 4's Quad HD display, which means it'll
look less crisp side by side. The OneTouch Hero 2 has an integrated capacitive
stylus, so your ideas look sharper and
brighter thanks to the ColorRize tehcnology.
The
OneTouch Hero 2 also has 16GB of storage, 2GB of RAM, and a microSD port that
accepts cards of up to 32GB, all slightly lower capacities than we're seeing on
the most top-tier phones, but still very acceptable. Alcatel OneTouch has also
built out a serious array of accessories for the Hero 2, with everything from
e-ink companions to smart covers to Chromecast-style TV dongles and even a
wireless laptop dock.
We've
gathered up the accessories here in a gallery showcase. The Hero 2 also has 4G
LTE aboard, as well as the usual suspects - Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, Wi-Fi
Display, and Wi-Fi Hotspot. Another surprise: The OneTouch Hero 2 has Micacast
Wi-Fi display features. The Miracast Wi-Fi display will let you mirror your
Hero 2 content directly to your LED TV. Just plug the TV Link into your TV and
start enjoying.
As the
competitor or Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the OneTouch Hero 2 runs on the Android 4.4
KitKat. The Hero 2 also has the smart accesories “the MagiFlip”; put on the
MagicFlip covers and live on enhance with the Hero 2, so you can check the
notifications, or access your musics without uncovering your phone with the
MagicFlip AERO COVER. The MagicFlip cover will make your notification light up
directly on your cover. Wow.
If you
compare the price of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, then the prices is also competitive.
The Hero 2 will present itself as an affordable alternative to the Galaxy Note
4, battling it out somewhere along the same lines as the Huawei Ascend Mate 2
4G. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 2 flaunts an EUR 350 price tag in Europe. I
believe, this smatphone also a good companion for holiday around the world or
business trips.
